Another successful craft fair, 10th March. Here you can see two Fairtrade stalls and
two local craftspeople, a spinner and a cane weaver.
Our shop window display for Fairtrade Fortnight, many thanks to Gill and Helen for setting it up and Yates for their generous donation of the window space.
June
Left and above the Malton and Norton group, below on right our friends from the Scarborough group.
Our social walk from Robin Hood’s Bay to the Youth Hostel at Boggle Hole. Youth Hostels support Fairtrade by selling Fairtrade tea and coffee. The café at Boggle Hole also has an excellent range of yummy cakes. We were joined by friends from the Scarborough Fairtrade group.
The Christmas Shop November
Another very successful Christmas shop, a record breaker in fact. We sold almost £3000 worth of Fairtrade food and crafts items, as well as Christmas cards and wrapping paper. Thank you to our friends at Fairer World in York and Black Yak for supplying us with all the wonderful and wide ranging things we sell. We do feel that we are now a regular part of the Malton and Norton calendar. See you all next year.
Ryedale District Council Canteen

our stall at the canteen in Ryedale House
Our last event of the year, we haven’t done a stall here for a couple of years, so it was a welcome return and we did very well. Thanks to the canteen staff for coffee and scones and for making us so welcome.
And in between stalls and talks for Sight Support in Pickering and Norton and also at Malton and Norton libraries, we get around!
