February and March

Our usual activity in Fairtrade Fortnight, displays in Yates window (see picture below) and Hoppers. Stalls in local schools and churches, a talk and stall at a community lunch at the Salvation Army and our own Fairtrade and Local Crafts Fair, (see picture below). Altogether £1500 worth of Fairtrade goods were sold.

April

We went to Thirsk to an event celebrating One Earth Day, see picture below1683964310093.

May;

a stall at Sight Support Malton

A table top stall in support of St Mary’s Old Malton

and a stall in St Michael’s Malton during the Malton Food Festival

June;

we went to Pickering Methodist church

Norton Trinity ran their own stall

July:

Presenting the Malton Town council twinning certificate to be displayed in Malton library.

We had paid for the twinning as a thanks to Malton Town Council for their support over the years.

There was a similar handover at Norton library.

September:

Our annual social event, a walk from Robin Hood’s Bay to the Youth Hostel at Boggle Hole for FT drinks and cakes.
