2025

Lots of events in 2025

We started the year with several successful stalls at Norton Trinity Methodist Church and West Heslerton Primary School as well with Sight Support in Norton and Kirkbymoorside.

Then in April here we are advertising our Spring Fairtrade and Local Crafts Fair.

In May we participated in Involve, an event promoted by Rotary to give local organisations a chance to show off their activities.

We also had a stall courtesy of St Michael’s Church during the Spring Food Festival, we made good use of the font and pews.

September was Fairtrade Fortnight. We had a stall in Morrisons and a window display in Yates, thanks to both local stores.

We also had a stall at Rillington Primary School, helped by several of the pupils.

The autumn and into winter saw a number of stalls, Sight Support in Middleton and Norton, Pickering Methodist Christmas Fayre, a wonderful two weeks at West Heslerton, Norton Trinity Methodist and of course our regular Christmas Fairtrade and Local Craft Fair.

Getting ready for a photo shoot for the local newspaper and some of the goods on sale.

Finally a new event, a Fairtrade Christmas Tree at Nunnington Hall, a National Trust property not far from us.

So, during the year we have promoted Fairtrade in a number of ways and have sold £2043 worth of Fairtrade crafts and chocolate.
